FA [Mini-Soccer and Youth Futsal Handbook]

By SCWGFL Contact Us

The FA have launched the new handbook to anyone involved in Mini-Soccer and Youth Futsal.

The FA have launched the new handbook with the aim to update coaches, volunteers, parents and anyone who may be involved in Mini-Soccer and Youth Futsal on the changes to the laws and principles.

Reasons as to why the handbook has been produced:

∙ To update the mini soccer laws of the game (they haven’t been updated for 5 seasons) and add in new optional laws that have been approved via the Leagues Pilot Scheme

∙ To encourage Mini-Soccer and Youth Leagues to embed Futsal into their offer

∙ To raise awareness of Futsal and the benefits of Futsal to young players and to educate people on the laws of Futsal

∙ To promote the need to create a player centred environment providing the very best introduction to the game.

Without Laws there would be no football. But when very young children play there are many other things to consider too.

The Mini-Soccer and Youth Futsal Handbook is available for download onto a smartphone and can be found below. http://www.sussexfa.com/news/2018/aug/13/the-mini-soccer-and-youth-futsal-handbook
